Russian, Ukrainian ombudsmen agree to continue visiting prisoners — commissioner

MOSCOW, December 1. /TASS/. Russian and Ukrainian ombudsmen have agreed to continue mutual visits to the captured servicemen of the two countries, Russia’s Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova told reporters.

Earlier, Moskalkova said that the Russian and Ukrainian ombudsmen had simultaneously visited 119 captured servicemen of the two countries in a reciprocal move.

"Agreements have been reached on mutual visits to the maximum number of servicemen, so I hope that the agreements on continuing the mutual visits will be carried out," Moskalkova said.

She also outlined an arrangement that would allow relatives to donate items to soldiers in enemy territory.
