Western remarks on ‘dirty bomb’ do not mean levity regarding Russia’s information — Lavrov

Earlier, the US State Department published a joint statement of US, UK and French foreign agencies saying that these countries consider Russia’s warning about a potential use of a so-called dirty bomb by Kiev groundless

MOSCOW, October 24. /TASS/. The public statements made by Western states regarding the "dirty bomb" do not mean that they will treat the information of the Russian side lightly in their internal discussions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during a press conference Monday.

Earlier, the US State Department published a joint statement of US, UK and French foreign agencies saying that these countries consider Russia’s warning about a potential use of a so-called dirty bomb by Kiev groundless.

"We will definitely get to the bottom of the ‘dirty bomb’ issue. We have a pressing interest to prevent such horrific provocation; and the things that our Western partners say in public, being biased towards unconditional, as I’ve said already, support of [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky and his regime, do not necessarily mean, in my opinion, that they will treat the information we’ve provided lightly in their internal discussions," Lavrov said.
