MOSCOW, June 13. /TASS/. Javelin missile systems, MANPADS, and artillery systems supplied by the West to Ukraine will not make a decisive contribution to the course of the military operation and will only aggravate the conflict, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov said on Monday in an interview with RBC TV.
"These weapons can hardly make a decisive contribution, somehow influence this military conflict. It will only aggravate the situation, prolong this conflict. I think that Ukrainians will only lose from this. It will bring no decisive contribution," Borisov said.
He noted that the Javelin systems, MANPADS, and 155-millimeter artillery systems correspond in their characteristics to Russian weapons. Borisov added that today the Russian troops have already put out of action many of the supplied weapons.
