Bank of Russia discusses new cyber threats with foreign partners

"Experts exchanged views on new cyber threats and discussed national approaches to responding to cyberattacks in the financial sector," the regulator said

MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Representatives of the Bank of Russia and other financial regulators from the countries of the EAEU, BRICS, SCO, and Southeast Asia discussed new cyber threats and information security issues on the sidelines of the Ural Forum Cyber Security in Finance, the press service of the Bank of Russia reported.

"A meeting with representatives of central (national) banks and financial regulators of individual countries of the EAEU, BRICS, SCO, and Southeast Asia took place at the Ural Forum Cyber Security in Finance. Experts exchanged views on new cyber threats and discussed national approaches to responding to cyberattacks in the financial sector," the statement siad.

Earlier, Governorof the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina said that representatives of more than 10 countries are participating in the forum.
