Russia plans to build over 1,700 ships by 2037 — PM

The Cabinet is also paying high attention to development of the Northern Sea Route, Mikhail Mishustin noted

MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Construction of more than 1,700 civilian vessels is in the plan until 2037, Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin said.

"The portfolio of producers is now growing, which is natural. It is over 300 marine and riverine ships at the moment. The looking-forward plan by 2037 provides for construction of more than 1,700 units in the civilian segment," Mishustin said.

The Cabinet is also paying high attention to development of the Northern Sea Route, the Prime Minister added.
