Russia’s Mir payment cards now accepted in 10 countries

According to First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov, "talks are underway with a number of other countries"

MOSCOW, December 21. /TASS/. Cards of the Mir payment system are currently accepted in 10 countries, Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov said on Thursday.

"Ensuring the acceptance of Mir payment cards abroad is an important part of the settlement system. Mir cards are currently accepted in 10 countries and talks are underway with a number of other countries," he said.

Mir payment cards are also accepted in Cuba, Abkhazia, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Venezuela and other countries.
