Russia’s international debt down $100.4 bln over 2022 to $381.8 bln — Central Bank

It is noted that the foreign debt of miscellaneous sectors contracted by $64.93 bln to $239.4 bln

MOSCOW, January 19. /TASS/. The foreign debt of Russia stood at $381.8 bln as of January 1, 2023, which is 20.8% or $100.4 bln smaller than the figure in early 2022, the Central Bank said on Thursday.

"The pace of the indicator is mainly driven by the decline of foreign loan debt in other sectors," the Bank of Russia said.

The foreign debt of miscellaneous sectors contracted by $64.93 bln to $239.4 bln. The international debt of Russian government authorities dropped by $16.9 bln to $46.5 bln. The foreign debt of the Central Bank and banks moved down by $18.6 bln to $95.85 bln.
