Rosatom is successfully implementing 23 international projects — First Deputy CEO

Russia and Rosatom are keeping leading position in the nuclear fuel cycle, Kirill Komarov said

SIRIUS FEDERAL TERRITORY, November 22. /TASS/. Rosatom is successfully implementing 23 international projects, First Deputy CEO of the Russian state nuclear corporation Kirill Komarov said at the Atomexpo Forum on Tuesday.

"Twenty three projects are being implemented out of twenty four projects we have for the Russian design as of the year start. We stopped building the Hanhikivi nuclear power plant due to the arbitrary decision of the Finnish customer only. All other our projects continue. Furthermore, we receive the feedback from customers to expedite project execution as much as possible," Komarov said.

Russia and Rosatom are keeping leading position in the nuclear fuel cycle, the top manager said.

"All the trends on the global market are upward. Prices are rising for all fuel components and long-term partner relations are important there as never before. Despite all the current political turbulence, we continue operations on the nuclear fuel market," he added.
