MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. More than 80% of the territory of Artyomovsk (the Ukrainian name of the town is Bakhmut), including all administrative centers, is now under the Russian forces’ control, Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin reported.

"The largest part of Bakhmut, that is over 80%, including all administrative centers, factories, plants, the city administration, is under our control," Prigozhin said, according to the video answer to a media question posted on his social networks on Tuesday.

Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov earlier reported that Russian forces focused their major efforts on Artyomovsk in the Donetsk area. According to him, the assault teams of the Wagner private military company continued fighting for residential areas in the city’s central part, edging out enemy forces to western outskirts. The top brass added that on the flanks, the assault teams were being supported by Airborne Force units.
