Trump says certain red line exists on US efforts in Ukraine settlement

US president refused to say what that line is because "it makes the negotiation even more difficult than it is"

WASHINGTON, May 20. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump noted that he has a certain red line with regard to the United States' efforts in the peace process over Ukraine, but gave no details.

"I do have a certain [red] line, but I don't want to say what that line is, because I think it makes the negotiation even more difficult than it is," Trump said when asked if he had any red lines the crossing of which would force the US to withdraw from the Ukrainian settlement process.

Earlier, Trump suggested that Washington could withdraw from the negotiation process if it finds it impossible to reach an agreement on the resolution.
