BANGALORE /India/, February 11. /TASS/. All Russian planes are reliable, and they fulfill their purposes, so there are no complaints regarding them, Indian chief test pilot Ajay Menon, who flies Su-30MKI fighter jets, has told TASS on the sidelines of the Aero India defense show.

"I have started learning fighter flying in the Russian MiG-21s. So, I am a big fan of Russian aircraft. In fact, all [Russian] planes are good," the pilot said.

"It is only when it performs what it is supposed to do that you really like the aircraft. So, no complaints," he added.

The Sukhoi Su-30MKI is a two-seater, twinjet multirole air superiority fighter developed by Russian aircraft maker Sukhoi and built under license by India's Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the Indian Air Force (IAF). It forms the backbone of India’s tactical aviation.
