MOSCOW, April 16. /TASS/. Doctors from Russia and Serbia will visit over ten settlements of Bosnia and Herzegovina to provide free medical care to local residents, the Russian Humanitarian Mission (RHM) told TASS.

The assistance to the population is provided within the RHM Mobile Clinic project, the latest stage of which kicked off on April 16. In two weeks, a team of doctors headed by Viktor Belinsky, a distinguished Russian doctor and Russian Emergencies Ministry medic, will visit more than ten remote and hard-to-reach settlements in the municipality of Srbac in order to help residents who are unable to reach medical institutions.

The RHM has been implementing the Mobile Clinic project in different parts of Serbia as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2018. During this time, doctors have treated more than 5,450 people with different problems. The medical team uses a cross-country vehicle outfitted with diagnostic equipment. This allows doctors to receive patients and provide assistance to the population in hard-to-reach settlements. The medical staff is accompanied by an interpreter, which allows Russian specialists to quickly establish communication with patients. The RHM press service notes that the project is especially vital for elderly and immobile citizens.
