MOSCOW, January 24. /TASS/. Russia is interested in creating conditions to bring back rare and valuable specialists, including ones from the IT industry, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters Tuesday, commenting on businessman Vladimir Potanin’s opinion that Russia should not persecute IT specialists, who have left the country since the beginning of the special military operation.

"Of course, these qualified workers pose a great interest for the country. Of course, we are interested in creation of necessary conditions for their return. And, of course, we must work with them so that they continue their work for the benefit of Russian companies and, eventually, for the benefit of the Russian state," Peskov said, calling these specialists "rare, valuable workers."

Speaking in an interview for RBC, Potanin commented on the initiative to confiscate the property of the people who have left Russia. The businessman called not to persecute specialists who continue to work for the benefit of the Russian economy and contribute to its development from abroad.
