MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. All specialists who were located at the Kourou Cosmodrome in French Guiana returned home, the Roscosmos press service told journalists on Friday.
"All Russian citizens returned to their homeland from the Guiana Space Center. A plane with the employees of rocket and space industry enterprises arrived in Moscow," the press service noted.
On March 2, the first group of 29 Russian launch and rocket specialists arrived in Moscow. On March 3, the last 56 Russian specialists remaining at the Kourou Cosmodrome in French Guiana left.
Earlier, General Director of the Roscosmos space agency Dmitry Rogozin announced that the state corporation was suspending cooperation with its European partners on the organization of launches from the Guiana Space Center and was recalling its technical staff in response to EU sanctions.
The EU has imposed severe financial and technological sectoral restrictions against 64 key Russian structures, including the Progress rocket and space center.
