Top Russian diplomat says not interested in EU stance on Ukrainian settlement

Previously, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that instead of searching for peaceful ways of resolving the crisis, the European Union has been declaring plans to boost military and financial assistance to the Kiev government, thus deliberately fueling escalation

MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said he was not interested in what the European Union and its members think about resolving the Ukrainian conflict.

When asked to comment on the EU stance, Lavrov replied: "Honestly, I’m not interested in their position. For some time now, I have no interest in it."

Previously, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that instead of searching for peaceful ways of resolving the crisis, the European Union has been declaring plans to boost military and financial assistance to the Kiev government, thus deliberately fueling escalation.
