LUGANSK, March 12. /TASS/. A group of Ukrainian troops stationed near the city of Sudzha in Russia’s Kursk Region, has found itself in several kill zones created by Russian servicemen, military expert Andrey Marochko said.
"Our guys are recovering new territories from Ukrainian militants [in the Kursk Region]. <…> Nearly two of these major encirclements were established in the Sudzha area, and the enemy’s manpower and equipment are now being destroyed in these kill zones," he told the OTR public television channel, a clip from which he published on his Telegram channel.
According to him, it is "quite heated now" in the battlefields near the city. "Ukrainian militants should take just one right decision - to surrender - as they simply have no other alternatives right now," the military expert emphasized.
The Russian Armed Forces have continued to destroy Ukrainian armed formations in the Kursk Region. The Russian Defense Ministry reported on March 11 that units of Russia’s Battlegroup North had continued their offensive, liberating 12 settlements: Agronom, Bogdanovka, Bondarevka, Dmitryukov, Zazulevka, Ivashkovsky, Kolmakov, Kubatkin, Martynovka, Mikhailovka, Pravda, Yuzhny, and more than 100 square kilometers of territory in the Kursk Region.
