MOSCOW, February 21. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed contentment with bilateral collaboration, which is actively developing in all areas with positive dynamics, the Kremlin said after a telephone talk between the two leaders.
"The leaders expressed contentment with the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation, which is actively developing in all areas. A significant growth in trade turnover, the successful implementation of major joint energy and industrial cooperation projects, and effective contacts between the regions were noted," the Kremlin said in a statement.
Putin and Mirziyoyev also confirmed their mutual interest in further comprehensive strengthening of the Russian-Uzbek strategic partnership and alliance, enhancing cooperation between governments, relevant ministries and departments.
