KURSK, February 14. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops target civilian facilities that pose no military threat, Russian foreign ministry’s ambassador at large, Rodion Miroshnik, said while visiting Russia’s borderline Kursk Region.
"The matter is that Ukraine is building a political strategy to hit facilities that pose no military threat," he said.
He stressed that strikes on civilian facilities constitute a war crime from the point of view of international humanitarian law. "My task here after the liberation of territories is to collect data on the Kiev regime’s crimes," he added.
According to Miroshnik, information about Ukraine’s crimes in the Kursk Region can be used during talks on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
