Increasingly more people living abroad want to work in Russia, says Putin

The Russian President reiterated that "a fast-track and facilitated procedure for acquiring Russian citizenship is envisioned" for these people

MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that more and more people living abroad want to work in Russia.

"It is pleasant to note that among those applying (for the Leaders of Russia contest - TASS), - and there were very many of them, we see increasingly more people who live permanently abroad but show interest in our country and show their desire to work in Russia," the president said at a meeting with the winners of the Leaders of Russia management competition.

Putin reiterated that "a fast-track and facilitated procedure for acquiring Russian citizenship is envisioned" for these people. "As many as 29 people from 12 countries have made such a decision for themselves," from both countries of the post-Soviet CIS bloc, and from non-CIS states - the United States, France, Greece and Bulgaria, the president said.
