MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. Russian air defense systems downed a Ukrainian fixed-wing drone near Kursk, Governor Roman Starovoit said.

"A Ukrainian fixed-wing drone was downed near Kursk. Thanks to our Air Defense Troops!" he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The regional head added that missile alert has been lifted in the Kursk Region.

Earlier, the governor reported that air defense systems were working in the skies over Kursk and the Kursk Region.
