MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin hopes that the good history of ties Russia and Greece previously enjoyed will make it possible to eventually revive relations between the two countries.

"One cannot but be worried about the current situation in bilateral affairs. We still hope that the traditional ties of spiritual closeness, mutual sympathy and respect of the Russian and Greek peoples will eventually help revive mutually beneficial partnership between our countries as well as normal business relations," the Russian leader said at the ceremony of accepting credentials from newly appointed foreign ambassadors.
