Russia cannot see why it should review goals of its special op — Lavrov

It is reported that the Russian leadership knows what objectives it has been seeking to attain and monitors progress toward them

SKOPJE, December 1. /TASS/. Russia can see no reasons why it should review the goals of its special military operation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told a news conference following his participation in the meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council.

Earlier, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky announced that the Ukrainian military would erect fortifications on the border with Russia and Belarus, as well as along the line of engagement. When asked to comment on whether that means that the Kiev regime has abandoned its aggressive plans, Lavrov said: "We can see no reasons why our goals should be revisited."

The Russian leadership knows what objectives it has been seeking to attain and monitors progress toward them, he assured reporters.
