Cossack leader points to role of Western instructors in attacks on civilians in Ukraine

According to Nikolay Doluda, not all Ukrainian troops have been trained to use Western-supplied armaments

KRASNODAR, August 26. /TASS/. Western instructors are directly involved in military operations, since they have fighting for the Ukrainian Army and participating in attacks on civilians in the liberated areas of Ukraine using HIMARS and other Western-supplied weapons, Nikolay Doluda, Ataman (Head) of the All-Russian Cossack Society, told TASS.

"There is proof that they [Ukrainian troops] are being trained in Western countries by local instructors. During the hostilities on Ukraine’s soil, instructors from Western countries are directly present, who both lead the battle and take part in the shelling of civilians, in addition to holding control over new military equipment, including the HIMARS multiple rocket launching systems," Doluda said at a visiting session of the standing commission of the Presidential Council for Cossack Affairs on cooperation with media in Krasnodar.

According to Doluda, not all Ukrainian troops have been trained to use Western-supplied armaments.

"All our Cossacks are on combat missions along the frontline - in battles in the DPR and in the LPR, as well as near Zaporozhye and Nikolayevka. When occupying Ukrainian strongholds, they have been reporting huge numbers of foreign-made military equipment and weapons there, specifically, British, American, German, Belgian, French and Polish weapons. Absolutely all West European countries have been sending their military equipment and arms," Doluda said.

Prior reports said nine Cossack units from the All-Russian Cossack Society had volunteered to join Moscow’s special military operation in Ukraine. Cossack militias are also fighting alongside the forces of the Donetsk and the Lugansk People’s republics. The total number of Cossacks involved exceeds 6,500 people.
