Moscow interested in mutually beneficial cooperation with Pakistan

Russian Consul General Andrey Fedorov stated that Pakistan is considered as a friendly country

ISLAMABAD, June 10. /TASS/. Russia is interested in cultivating mutually beneficial cooperation with Pakistan, including on the issue of oil supplies, Russian Consul General Andrey Fedorov told TASS on Friday.

"Russia is interested in developing relations with all countries, including Pakistan," he said and added, "We consider Pakistan a friendly country. And when friends sit down at the negotiating table, they can agree on mutually beneficial cooperation, even on oil".

The Consul General added that he had no information about consultations on Russian oil supplies to the country during the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in Moscow on February 24. "As for the discussion of this issue in the Kremlin, I can't say anything about it, because I was not there," Fedorov stressed.
