Russian Economy Ministry prepares updated WTO strategy

The draft document has been presented to the government

MOSCOW, June 8. /TASS/. The Russian Economy Ministry has prepared a revised draft strategy of the country’s participation in the World Trade Organization," the ministry’s press service told TASS.

"The draft strategy and relevant proposals have been prepared and presented to the government," the press service said.

On May 20, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to analyze measures aimed against Russia by WTO member-states. The President also asked the Cabinet to present proposals for appeals against such measures by Russia within the WTO framework and on the updates to the strategy of Russia’s participation in the Organization.
