MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. The lives of those injured in the detonation of ammunition at a depot in Russia’s Vladimir Region are not in danger, regional Governor Alexander Avdeyev said.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, a fire that broke out at a military unit in the Vladimir Region’s Kirzhachsky District on April 22 caused the detonation of munitions. Four people suffered injuries. The crisis center decided to evacuate the military unit, seven nearby settlements and 12 summer communities.
"The number of those injured did not change during the night. As I said yesterday, four people were injured. Three of them are hospitalized; their lives are not in danger," the governor wrote on Telegram.
According to updated data, a total of 495 people, including 13 children, are staying in temporary accommodation centers in the Kirzhachsky and Alexandrovsky districts. A volunteer center has been set up and humanitarian aid is being collected.
