MOSCOW, February 15. /TASS/. Temporary air flight restrictions, imposed earlier at the Kaluga Airport, have been lifted, the press office of Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency said in a statement on Saturday.
"Earlier imposed temporary restrictions on aircraft landing and take-off at the Kaluga Airport (Grabtsevo) were lifted as of 8:00 a.m. Moscow time [5:00 a.m. GMT]," the statement reads. "The restrictions were introduced earlier to provide safety for civilian aircraft."
The agency reported earlier in the day that temporary restrictions had been placed on civilian aircraft landing and take-off at seven airports across the country, namely at the airports of Astrakhan, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Grozny, Kaluga, Saratov, and Ulyanovsk.
