One person killed in fire aboard Russian fishing vessel off Kaliningrad — official

According to Spokesman for the regional government Dmitry Lyskov, the boat is currently being towed to the Baltic Sea port of Baltiysk or Svetloye

KALININGRAD, March 19. /TASS/. One person has died after a fire erupted on the fishing boat Kapitan Lobanov in Russia’s exclave region of Kaliningrad, spokesman for the regional government Dmitry Lyskov told TASS.

"I can confirm that one person has been killed aboard [the fishing vessel]," Lyskov said.

Another person has been hospitalized in serious condition, and two others are currently in the hospital in fair-to-serious condition, the official added. A fourth person is receiving outpatient treatment.

According to Lyskov, the boat is currently being towed to the Baltic Sea port of Baltiysk or Svetloye.
