Cabinet to allocate $16.3 mln to upgrade rehabilitation equipment — PM

Mikhail Mishustin noted that more than 600 units of various modern equipment will be delivered to the healthcare centers, including the specialized one for the soonest possible recovery of people’s health

MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. The government will allocate over 1.5 bln rubles ($16.3 mln) for the upgrade of medical rehabilitation equipment in 49 healthcare centers, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"One of the topic in the report [on government activities] was the expansion of medication support for citizens, the upgrade of primary care setting, and renovation of our hospitals, our outpatient clinics. We continue this effort. The government resolved today to allocate over 1.5 bln rubles to outfit medical rehabilitation departments in forty-nine federal centers," the Prime Minister said.

More than 600 units of various modern equipment will be delivered to these centers, including the specialized one for the soonest possible recovery of people’s health, Mishustin said. "We will continue developing medical rehabilitation for patients with the most different diagnoses all over the country," he added.
