MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. Expenditures from the federal budget for the implementation of National Projects in Russia amounted provisionally to 2.53 trillion rubles ($27.4 bln) as of December 1 of this year, the Finance Ministry reports on its website.
"According to preliminary data, as of December 1, 2023, performance of federal budget expenditures for the implementation of National Projects amounted to 2,530.9 bln rubles or 84.5% of the planned budget allocations," the ministry said.
The following National Projects take the lead in terms of utilizing expenditures: Culture (92.1%), Science and Universities (92%), and Demography (91.8%).
According to the ministry’s data, performance is over 80% for Housing and Urban Environment (89.4%), Healthcare (87.2%), Ecology (84.8%), Safe and High-Quality Roads (82.1%), Labor Productivity (82.1%), International Cooperation and Export (81.7%), and Education (80.4%).
They are followed by the Comprehensive Plan for the upgrade and expansion of the main infrastructure (transport part) (71.5%), Small and Medium-sized Business and Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative Support (71.2%), Digital Economy of the Russian Federation (71.1%), and Tourism and Hospitality Industry (69%).
