Expenditures on National Projects in Russia total $7.5 bln as of April 1

The following National Projects take the lead in terms of utilizing expenditures: Culture (51.5%), Science and Universities (44.8%), Labor Productivity (32.8%), Ecology (23.8%), Demography (23.6%), Digital Economy (22.6%), and the Comprehensive Plan for the upgrade and expansion of the main infrastructure (transport part) (20.7%)

MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. Expenditures for the implementation of National Projects in Russia from the federal budget amounted provisionally to 600.6 bln rubles ($7.5 bln) or 20.1% from the target as ofApril 1 of this year, the Finance Ministry reports on Friday on its Telegram channel.

"According to preliminary data, as of April 1, 2023, performance of federal budget expenditures for the implementation of National Projects amounted to 600.6 bln rubles or 20.1% of the planned budget allocations," the ministry said.

The following National Projects take the lead in terms of utilizing expenditures: Culture (51.5%), Science and Universities (44.8%), Labor Productivity (32.8%), Ecology (23.8%), Demography (23.6%), Digital Economy (22.6%), and the Comprehensive Plan for the upgrade and expansion of the main infrastructure (transport part) (20.7%).

According to the ministry’s data, performance is over 10% for Healthcare (19.3%), Small and Medium-size Business and Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative Support (15.4%), Education (15.2%), Safe and High-Quality Roads (12.1%), and Housing and Urban Environment (11%).

They are followed by International Cooperation and Export (8.5%), and Tourism and Hospitality Industry (0.6%), the Ministry informed.
