Uralchem to send first humanitarian batch of fertilizers from EU ports — CEO

The batch will be about 20,000 metric tons

MOSCOW, November 1. /TASS/. The Uralchem-Uralkali Group intends to deliver the first humanitarian batch of fertilizers from EU ports to Malawi, CEO of Uralchem Dmitry Konyaev told TASS.

"Yes, we can confirm the planned supply of mineral fertilizers of the Uralchem-Uralkali Group blocked in European ports for some time. Uralkali Trading SIA will act as their direct supplier," the top manager said.

The batch will be about 20,000 metric tons, Konyaev noted. "According to plans, the first batch from EU ports will go to Malawi, where the challenging situation has evolved in the agricultural sector," he added.
