Russia says fighters placed armed vehicles, artillery, MLRS at Nikolayev schools

MOSCOW, June 16. /TASS/. Mikhail Mizintsev, head of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, on Thursday said nationalists placed artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and armored vehicles at two schools in Nikolayev.

"In Nikolayev, in schools No. 14 (Volnaya St.) and No. 84 (Lesnaya St.), nationalists set up firing positions. Armored vehicles, artillery and MLRS are located on the territory of the educational institutions," he said.

He said in Odessa, at schools No. 31 (Kostrova St.), No. 55 (Ilf and Petrov St.), No. 65 (Academician Korolev St.), units of the frmed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries have been deployed. Checkpoints have been set up on the approaches to the buildings, firing positions have been set up, artillery and armored vehicles have been placed. And in Kharkov, in the building of vocational school No. 32 (Sportivnaya Street), a stronghold of the armed forces of Ukraine was set up, an ammunition depot was set up in the basement, and heavy weapons were placed in the adjacent territory.
