Kiev’s terror attacks against Dnieper, Kakhovka hydros likely — public figure

As Vladimir Rogov said, the downstream part of Zaporozhye will be destroyed and flooded

MOSCOW, October 21. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army may use terror attacks against the Dnieper and Kakhovka hydro power plants in order to distract the allied forces from assistance to the local population, the leader of the movement We are Together with Russia, Vladimir Rogov, said on the Solovyov Live television channel.

"I have no doubt that they are plotting a terrorist act against the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. The whole propaganda machinery has been commissioned. Or take the falsehoods at the level of international platforms. They are certainly preparing for a terrorist attack," he said. "In the current conditions, if this happens, colossal resources will be distracted to saving the civilian population, who has not yet had time to move elsewhere or be evacuated from the right bank. In the meantime, the Ukrainian army will begin to attack."

Rogov recalled that the Dnieper hydroelectric power plant was mined "at least in three places." The former CEO of the Zaporozhye NPP, he said, had confessed during interrogation that the Ukrainian security service SBU had requested information about what would happen to the Zaporozhye NPP if the Dnieper hydroelectric power plant was blown up.

"The Dnieper Hydro is higher and larger in terms of the water volume. The downstream part of Zaporozhye will be destroyed and flooded. There are hundreds of thousands of people there," he explained.

The head of the European Council, Charles Michel, tweeted on Thursday that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said in a video message to EU leaders who gathered for a summit in Brussels, said that Russia was "threatening the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant and its dam."
