Liberating Ilyinovka in DPR, Russian troops push into Dolgaya Balka — expert

According to Andrey Marochko, intense clashes are ongoing west of Konstantinovka

LUGANSK, April 29. /TASS/. Russian troops, having freed the Ilyinovka settlement in the Donetsk People’s Republic on April 28, advanced into Dolgaya Balka near Konstantinovka, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

"West of Ilyinovka, our troops moved along the ridge and have already entered Dolgaya Balka," he said.

According to the military expert, intense clashes are ongoing west of Konstantinovka. "By advancing northwest, our troops can encircle a major fortified stronghold of Ukrainian militants there," Marochko noted.

He added that the Russian Armed Forces, having liberated Ilyinovka, will be able to complete the encirclement of the Ukrainian troop group in Konstantinovka.
