Ukrainian forces unable to penetrate allied defenses — LPR military officer

Andrey Marochko described the losses of Ukrainian troops as colossal and catastrophic

MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops are suffering enormous losses in an attempt to break through the allied forces’ defenses between the Sveltodarsk Bulge and the Kharkov Region, but to no avail, the Lugansk People’s Republic’s militia officer Andrey Marochko said on Tuesday.

"The [Ukrainian] command does not care about these losses, they keep attacking our units, trying to break through our defenses in various places. It’s happening between the Svetlodarsk Bulge and the Kharkov Region but our troops are handling the situation and are keeping the enemy at bay," Marockho told Channel 1.

He described the losses of Ukrainian troops as colossal and catastrophic. "According to our intel, the enemy deployed about 2,500 reserve troops to the Soledar and Artyomovsk area last week. These reserves are already gone this week and they are now sending more reserve troops into the fire," the LPR militia officer added.
