UNITED NATIONS, March 11. /TASS/. Russia insists on a probe into possible uses of UN vehicles and symbols by Ukrainian radicals participating in combat operations, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzia said on Friday.

"Yesterday, a video was posted on the internet featuring some people in military uniforms somewhere near Kharkov, presumably, are downing a Russian warplane from a man-portable air defense system," he said. "A car presumably used by these men is parked nearby. I have this photo. It is a white Toyota with the sign ‘United Nations’ on it. We have already asked the secretariat about it and were told that UN cars are not used by Ukraine’s territorial defense forces as they were reportedly used near Kramatorsk. We insist on a UN probe into this incident. Even if it doesn’t turn out to be a UN vehicle, it is inadmissible to use UN symbols and logos on cars used in combat operations.".
