ORENBURG, April 8. /TASS/. The number of flooded houses in Orsk increased to 6,987, the press service of the Orenburg Region’s government informs.

Monday morning reports indicated 6,641 houses flooded.

"In Orsk, 6,987 residential houses with homestead land were flooded. Over 2,000 people were evacuated, including 704 children," the press service said.

Fifteen temporary accommodation centers were opened in the city. 1,377 people, including 243 children, are now accommodated there.
