Sales of new premium cars in Russia dip twofold in February — statistics

"Avtostat agency experts note that premium cars made up 8.8% of total car sales in Russia last month," the report said

MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. Sales of new premium cars in Russia fell annually by a factor of two in February 2025 to 6,900 units, the Avtostat analytical agency said.

"In total, 6,887 new premium cars were sold in our country as of the end of February, half as many as were sold in the same month last year. Avtostat agency experts note that premium cars made up 8.8% of total car sales in Russia last month. Meanwhile, in February 2024, the number was 13.1%" the agency said.

Exeed was the best-selling premium car brand as of the end of this February with 1,442 cars sold.

TANK was second with 1,402 units sold. Lixiang came in third with 692 cars sold. BMW and Mercedes Benz rounded out the top five with 593 and 430 cars sold respectively.
