MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. The Russian government is considering the issue of introducing customs benefits for imports of certain categories of fruits and vegetables, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development reports.
"The issue of introducing benefits for imports of potatoes, onion, carrots, cabbages and apples is being reviewed by the government commission on customs and tariffs regulation," the ministry noted.
Temporary benefits were introduced earlier in the form of setting import duties to zero for the limited quantity of beef, poultry, eggs and tomatoes, the ministry informed earlier.
