Production of fertilizers added 13.9% year-on-year and 5.2% month-on-month

MOSCOW, June 26. /TASS/. Russia’s production of fertilizers rose by 16% in January-May 2024 year-on-year to 11.9 mln tons equivalent to 100% of nutritive substances, the State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported.

In May, production of fertilizers added 13.9% year-on-year and 5.2% month-on-month.

Russia’s ammonia production increased by 6.4% in January-May to 7.6 mln tones, sulphur output fell by 6.1% to 2.4 mln tons, while production of plastics went up by 2.9% to 4.6 mln tons.
