MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. The turnover of the Moscow Exchange for 11 months of 2023 exceeded 1.2 quadrillion rubles ($13.29 trillion), Chairman of the Board of the trading platform Yuri Denisov told reporters.
"The year before last, we reached a turnover of 1 quadrillion [rubles] in December. This year we crossed 1 quadrillion [rubles] in October, and in 11 months we already have 1 quadrillion 200 trillion [rubles] in turnover. This is the maximum value for the whole history, and it is clear that we will still see growth before the end of the year - we have a whole month left," Denisov said.
According to his presentation, in the Q3 of 2023, the stock market grew three times - to 7.9 trillion rubles ($87.53 bln) compared to the same period last year, the bond market - also three times to 11 trillion rubles ($121.88 bln), the derivatives market - by 51% to 24.2 trillion rubles ($268 bln).
