Global oil market still exposed to uncertainties — Novak

It is noted that monitoring and assessments of the situation should continue to make timely and proper decisions

MOSCOW, February 1. /TASS/. The global oil market continues to be exposed to plenty of uncertainties influencing supply and demand indicators, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on the air with the Rossiya-24 TV Channel.

"Certainly, we observe many uncertainties that are being analyzed on a going basis, in online conditions. In particular, these are issues pertaining to the global economy, the rise in supplies or the rise in demand. The People’s Republic of China is now going out of the COVID; we expect consumption growth. Furthermore, inflation expectations did not leave and we are looking attentively at actions of central banks of the leading global economies," Novak added.

Monitoring and assessments of the situation should continue to make timely and proper decisions, the official said.
