Kamaz trucks production up 16% in Q1 to 11,400 units

In March 2022, the company made 4,023 trucks

MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. Kamaz produced 11,398 trucks in Q1 2022, an increase of 16% year-on-year, the company reported on Tuesday.

"In first three months of the year production equaled 11,398 units, up by 16% compared with last year," the report said.

In March 2022, the company made 4,023 trucks, down by 7.5% year-on-year.

Kamaz is Russia’s largest truck producer and one of the world’s top twenty biggest producers. The company produces trucks, trailers, buses, tractors, engines, power units, and different tools. Its main shareholders are the state-owned Rostec corporation (49.9%), Avtoinvest (23.54%), and Daimler Truck (15%, a subsidiary of Germany’s Daimler).
