European Parliament Committee upholds the revised EU Gas Directive

BRUSSELS, March 18. /TASS/. The European Parliament (EP) Committee on Industry, Research and Energy has supported a draft revised EU Gas Directive, which will expand Brussels’s ability to control the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline. The voting procedure was broadcast by the press service of the European Parliament.

"The European Parliament Committee supported the amendments to the EU Gas Directive," Jerzy Buzek, head of the committee said on the voting results.
