BELGOROD, May 15. /TASS/. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) forces of Russia’s Battlegroup North’s 6th Guards Combined Arms Army destroyed at least 15 electronic warfare (EW) stations of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Kharkov Region over the past week, an attack UAV platoon commander, call sign "Funtik," told TASS.

"FPV drone operators of the Battlegroup North’s 6th Guards Combined Arms Army’ unmanned systems units destroyed more than 15 electronic warfare stations of Ukrainian militants in the Kharkov Region over the past week. Reconnaissance and attack UAV operators conduct surveillance and search for targets at enemy positions around the clock. Despite attempts to conceal their jamming equipment, experienced operators detect and destroy the stations," the officer said.

He noted that eliminating jamming stations and equipment the Russian military can more widely utilize various types of reconnaissance and attack drones. "We try to destroy both the jamming stations themselves, the generators used to power them, and the militant personnel operating these stations," the officer added.

Standard communications equipment is used to coordinate actions. Thanks to a high-quality connection, units’ command and control is uninterrupted and running 24/7. Live recording is ensured via a stable internet connection. The work is coordinated exclusively through systems and applications provided by the Russian Defense Ministry.
