MOSCOW, February 18. /TASS/. Ruselectronics (part of Russia’s hi-tech corporation Rostec) has demonstrated an automated air defense missile brigade’s command and control system at the IDEX-2019 defense show in Abu Dhabi, the company’s press office reported on Monday.
The command and control system comprises the Polyana-D4M1 equipment vehicle and the combined R-142NMR radio station.
"The vehicles provide for automated command and control of surface-to-air missile systems and complexes like the S-300, Buk, the combined S-300, Buk, Tor and Tunguska grouping, and also the modernized version of the Pantsyr-S1M anti-aircraft missile/gun system, on display at the IDEX-2019 exhibition, through the corresponding command posts, " Ruselectronics said.
The Polyana-D4M1 automated command and control system for an air defense missile brigade is capable of tracking and reflecting up to 250 air targets at a time and distribute them in an automated mode among veracious air defense missile systems. The command and control system gets information from digital radar stations, provides for coordination and interaction with the command post of controlling aircraft and electronic warfare systems.
The combined R-142NMR radio station provides for the exchange of analogue and digital information in adverse jamming conditions.
The use of the R-142NMR radio station in the Polyana-D4M1 automated command and control system increases the system’s command efficiency and the ‘leverage’ of controlling an air defense missile brigade’s manpower and military hardware, providing communications for a range of up to 30 km.
Ruselectronics is a key operator on the radio-electronic market. Founded in 1997, it joined Rostec hi-tech corporation in 2007. In 2017, the United Instrument-Making Corporation was integrated into the Ruselectronics Group. Today Ruselectronics accounts for over 50% of electronic components produced in Russia.
Ruselectronics integrates over 120 enterprises and research institutes specializing in the development and production of radio-electronic components and technologies.
