Trump instructs his aide to organize meetings on Ukraine — NYP

"I hope it’s fast. Every day people are dying. This war is so bad in Ukraine. I want to end this damn thing," Trump said

NEW YORK, February 9. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump has once again stated that he has a specific plan to end the conflict in Ukraine and has called on his National Security Adviser Mike Waltz to organize meetings on this issue, the New York Post newspaper reported.

"I hope it’s fast. Every day people are dying. This war is so bad in Ukraine. I want to end this damn thing," Trump said.

The New York Post interviewed Trump on board Air Force One on Friday evening. At some point Waltz joined him. "Let’s get these meetings going. They want to meet," Trump said addressing to Waltz.

On February 7, answering a question from TASS, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that there are no substantive proposals from the US on the Ukrainian issue yet, only various statements are being made daily, which are then refuted.
