BEIRUT, November 22. /TASS/. Israeli Air Force drones have attacked several buildings in the Hadath neighborhood on the southern outskirts of Lebanon’s capital of Beirut, where the facilities of the Shia group Hezbollah are believed to be located, a source in the local civil defense service told a TASS correspondent.
"The Israeli raid began with drone strikes on the southern suburbs, several powerful explosions were heard there," the source said. "Residents fled these neighborhoods half an hour ago as soon as the Israeli army warned them of the impending attack," he added.
The air raid is also expected to target the Haret Hreik neighborhood, a major Hezbollah stronghold in southern Beirut.
On November 21, the Israeli Air Force shelled the Lebanese capital four times overnight. According to the army press service, the attack targeted "weapons depots," "command headquarters" and "terrorist infrastructure" of the Shia group.
