According to a TASS correspondent, the airstrikes are being carried out during daylight hours for the first time this month.

A source in the civil defense service told TASS by telephone that Israeli planes attacked 11 times in a row the neighborhoods of Ghobeiry, Laylaki, Haret Hreik and Hadath suburb. Several deafening explosions were heard, he said, indicating the use of powerful munitions by the Israeli air force.

"There have been reports of destroyed buildings on Jisr Hadi, Sfeir and Jamous streets, as well as near the Al-Zahraa center," the source said. "There are no casualties, as most of the residents had left these neighborhoods in early October after Israel began regular bombing raids against the southern suburbs of Beirut."
